    Default Porta boat review fishing

Not bad fishing out of the porta boat 12 foot
Only complaint is the bottom is like standing on a water bed...anyone have one of these boats?!

Don't have one. But I always thought they'd be neat. Especially when you pull camper or something and can't tow boat and trailer. Curious, how big a motor can it take? And how does it travel through the water, rough? Seems like it's keel would cut the water good, dono.

They pop up on my local Craiglist a few times of month. They are very cool boats.

Hi slab not sure on motor size I've seen and heard u def can use a gas motor on it tho.. I use a trolling motor...it's very light and they claim unsinkable!

My father has one of these, it has a 5 hp motor, it is ok to fish out of in light winds, but you do not want to get it out in high winds. He and I have fished out of it together with no issues.

FYI, he has one for sale in Northeast Oklahoma.

I've seen them a few times and thought about getting one. Never knew someone that had one though.
