I've watched ALL your videos, and am always chuffed (as the Brits say) when you post a new one. Your best bit of advice is to move when they ain't biting. I am always trying to get fish to bite that I see on, ahem, you know what electronics, and sometimes they don't want ANYTHING. It is hard to leave when you see them RIGHT THERE and watch them react to your jig without biting. This is a trap you fall into with this particular gadget.

Lately I have been giving them the 3 color and 5 minutes rule. Man did it pay off today. I spotted a pile and it was covered with big slabs (big blobs on the scope). I caught 5 and they shut down, but those 5 were like 13-15 inch fish, biggest 1.5 lbs. The rest of the morning I caught & released a lot more, but they weren't all that size. If I had not moved around so much, I would not have found that pile. The bag of fillets from those 5 crappie is HEAVY. BAM! Thank you SK.

I watch his videos on You Tube, when he posts them here. So in yesterdays video, did any of you notice that he, after taking a crappie off, he would swipe his hook across the side of the fish? I asked him about it,, and hopefully, he will answer here also. Never have I seen someone do that before.

What he's doing is putting natural fish scent on the jig in the form of the fish slim. works pretty well.

Jamesdean hit the nail on the head..... At times it's the absolute best scent to help bring that next bite..... I've found that scent is almost like jig colors, find that right one and it's a hook-set fest......
