Default Self imposed limit of 6

Visited my bud Ez yesterday and hung around on the dock again , we are experiencing some difficult times , somehow the gas cap got left off and it rained and rained and it so happens the gas tank sits EXACTLY right under the drip line of the roof !
So no boat rides as we work slowly on getting the who knows how many gallons of water/gas removed . Hopefully we get it fixed in a week or so ,but again its a no go right now .
But to be sure we had fun and we wanted to do some tacos and the crappie are running really small in that location ,so we are using bluegills for the most part . One or 2 crappie made the cut and quite few bluegill had surgical procedures performed on them as well .
But it is necessary to "Self impose a limit of 6 " .....
Because at that point in time one is so full one might pop if one gets close to something sharp
We went with traditional old school cast iron rolled in cornmeal frito extrrrra crispy fillets and rolled up a herd of tacos about sunset and sure did make some mmmmm noises as we consumed said vittles
To say they were tasty isnt even a half way ok description and to be sure we yucked it up and even drank a brew or 2 . The bluegills fell for our back up plan of hotdogs along the rocks and the crappie hit jigs deep in the brush .
4:30 pm start and 8:30 pm stop and poof i was gone ,wife said i couldnt go unless i promised to wear a mask the whole time and i could only get 4 tacos on my first plate ....

    ketchn:

I know some folks are sensitive about sharing things like this, but them are some good looking tacos and if you don't mind, could you share your recipe?

I live far enough away that I won't be any competition at your fishing spot.
