Our local ACE store has all the usual hardware stoe items, but was really suprised when they had a section for fishing that put Walmart to shame...

That is nice but probably regional. Our ACE doesn’t have any that I remember seeing.

Could be for sure. I know the one in Crestview, Florida doesn't either.

Ace is good but I think it all depends on region and ownership.
Heck, in my small town, Ace has all the hardware stuff but also chain saw chain, files, fishing poles, guns, ammo.
This year they’re even selling minners!
If they’d offer hair cuts and blood pressure check I wouldn’t even stop anywhere else.

Our ace is good, but pricey for fasteners, fittings and such. They are my go to for paint. We're fortunate here, have Ace, big r, two lumber yards (although they have bankers hours), three auto parts stores, Fastenal. All in town.

I love ACE, their supply of various hardware bits in that isle of bins is just outstanding and a job saver many times in life. They sell EGO trimmers and mower too which i can't recommend enough. Mine even has minnows!

The best thing ACE has done in a long time is add Rockwood charcoal. If you cook on a grill and use hardwood charcoal, this stuff is awesome. A little spendy but wit the $5 off coupons ACE always sends it make it reasonable.

Speaking of the rewards program, it is one of the better ones out there! I don't sign up for very many of those things but the ACE one is definitely worth it.

Ace Hardware 10/26/1985. It was my birthday. I was looking for a certain size Oring. They had it. And then I saw it.
I always wanted a Browning .22 auto Belgium made.
found it at Ace Hardware. I felt like I was 12 again.

The wife and i went to our local Ace hardware store today looking for a food caner which we found along with some other things we wanted and i was really surprised with the price. they also had a fishing selection that my wife really liked and i looked at the bullet and shell section which was fairly priced.
