    Default Fluorocarbon knot

You guys who use light (4 lb) fluoro, what knot do you use to tie on the jig? I use heavier fluoro on my bass rigs with no knot issues but my go-to knot ain't workin' with the light line, seems to be cutting into itself.

Palomar...using 3lb fluorocarbon tied directly to 1/24 and smaller jig heads. 4lb drum landed last week no problem.

I've been using the Orvis knot for many years.

Palomar no issues at all on 3# test. It held for this beast.

I use Seaguar 4lb test fluorocarbon leader and use a loop knot to tie jigs. I have had no issues. I have had no issues with the improved clinch knot I tie to the barrel swivel on the other end either.

I always use uni knot for all my fishing, 4 wraps for 8lb and above 5-6 wraps for light line.
