garmin question

GARMIN ECHOMAP Plus g3 94sv Fishfinder/Chartplotter Combo with GT51 Transducer and Bluechart G3 US Coastal Charts | West Marine

Does anyone know if this will work with panoptix? I know it is ocean maps, but does it really matter if I am only using it for panoptix display? Thanks in advance.

It says on the page :

ECHOMAP Plus 70cv/70sv/90sv series combos support the full line of Panoptix all-seeing sonar transducers, including the Panoptix LiveScope system.

You might want to check with Brian@BBGmarine (member) to see if he can beat that price, or if the 93sv Garmin unit would be a better choice if coastal waters are not in your future.

Will difenetly work. I have a 93SV plus hooked up on my boat. same units with the exception of different maps

If you're interested in seeing engine data on the unit make it sure it supports that interface.
