Can someone tell me how to make the video show up on the post instead of just a link? Thanks.

Nice job! I have been thinking about doing the same thing. What's your plan for changing water? Will you use tap water or what? How often will you change it after the filter system has settled in ?

Awesome setup. I really need to build one myself.

RoughRiver I thought about installing a permanent line for water changes but decided against it due to space limits. I know I will have some fish waste collect in the bottom of the actual tank(freezer) so I plan to use a small siphon so I can pick up waste while removing water. Just siphon into a 5 gallon bucket. Water I add back will be tap water with the rv filter to remove the chlorine. Depending on water temp difference I will most likely add a gallon at a time (5 gal water change) to not shock the fish with a large temp swing. After the filter is established the water changes will be somewhere between once a month and once every four months. I will play it by ear. I have read several fish hatchery papers (mostly from universities across the country) and that seems to be the range times on water changes. And it will not be a full change...about 30% of water. And NEVER wash the bioballs or scrubbies. That’s where your good bacteria grows. I will wash the filter sock to prevent it clogging and that’s it. Hope this helps!!!
