Please be sure to let us know what you think of these products and how much of a difference they made for you once you have a chance to form an opinion.
I know the step ladder and the Dakota changed my whole outlook on life when it comes to boat maintenance and offloading at the ramps.
The Dakota Boat retriever with a RAM Mount connector from the website then a ladder similar to the one you showed but not with a latching part from Amazon. Thanks again.

Tom, how about a ladder on a hinge that swings over into the boat from the dock. Kind of like the ladders used to get in an attic.

I have a 22 ft Lowe Deck Boat that I use guiding. Just after purchase, I put an Easy Step system on the trailer to use when getting into the boat. Works like a charm.

I have been considering a trailer step system and like the Easy Step System as well as any I've seen... and I've heard nothing but good things about it from those who have it.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it's the next "Boat Handling Hack" that I invest in... but I will likely put it off for a while.

I did a couple of measurements and made a couple of pictures of the boat on the trailer and sent it all to the Easy Step folks. They customized my Easy Step to fit my boat and sent it to me. Took about 30 minutes to install. Works great! Can't recommend it enough.

I've been looking at marine boarding ladders that are hinged as you state, but they are all too long or too many steps. There are plenty boarding options for larger boats.
