I'm sorry to hear about the severe right hand neuropathy, Brother. I have bilateral neuropathy in both feet, but thankfully only severe in my left foot and ankle, so I know how aggravating it can be for sure.
Could you even use a ladder with a hand rail type situation? The main thing is: You can and should fashion something to keep you fishing whenever you and Mrs. want to go.

No doubt about it, you still have the brainpower to mastermind most anything you need and just have someone else do the parts you can't. Just dig up a bale of that money out of the backyard and git 'er done.
It will be interesting, as it always is, to see what you come up with to overcome this inconvenience to your love of fishing and being on the water.

I feel your pain and great thread.
So far I have had both knees replaced and currently trying to lose weight to prolong the hip replacements. I find the ground gets further and further away every year. Get's harder and harder to get up off the ground every year. I find myself looking for a grab handle for steps up or down, plus to get up from my knees or off the ground. I also find myself trying to accomplish more tasks in a sitting position.

Looking at a new boat and seriously considering a pontoon. That flat deck is awfully appealing.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!

G can you get on and off your steps without getting your feet wet. My truck tires are barely in the water when I launch and load. That's the reason I have to step over in my truck bed and into my boat. I can do it pretty easy now but, I know at 70 those days are limited.

Hanr3 I know what you mean about the ground getting farther away. The DOWN is OK and the UP is OK the problem is the IN BETWEEN !!
