He took an almost never gets to ketch fish guy and his boat and a some minnows to that lake and applied what I told him I found and the smile on that almost 80 years old guys face was priceless when he sent me a photo of him with a nice fat crappie and thank you for the information .
his screen name was Wabananut and I often called him the captain in my reports .
BTW ….his graph told him that across the entire lake was a very definitive thermocline at 8 foot down and every fish he saw was holding at 6.5 down even in 30 foot of water .
So to further solidify my blind scouting report there is a reason I ketched so many on the fall and not very deep on a light jig .
