I agree Ketchn. $5 glasses all day and all around. Think I bought 5 pair last time and put a pair in vehicles, drawers anywhere that we might need or look to grab a pair. I can’t see paying much for something my daughters might break or we might lose.

I'm jealous of you guys that have good vision, I've been wearing glasses for distance since 1991. You don't want to meet me on the road or in a boat without them

I used to ride a motorcycle all the time. You could get a helmet for 5 dollars back then from the JC Whitney catalog. The comments from the older, wiser riders were - If you've got a 5 dollar head, use a 5 dollar helmet.
Sunglasses are for protection from gradual damage. You don't have to buy the most expensive, as cost does not equate to quality in sunglasses. But buy the best quality you can afford.
Same goes for shoes, and mattresses.

Anybody have any personal experiences with these Hook and Bullet glasses. They appear to be in the same price range of the Costas. I do have a problem in seeing my HDS units with my Costas but hate to drop another 250.00 on another brand that will probably fog up as well.

    Check out FishGillz !
hard to beat for 50 bucks ! Only down fall is that they scratch up pretty easy after 2-3 years If your ruff on them like I am and another great feature is they do float !
I do have a pair of costa’s because they were given to me and they may be a tad bit better but for the price I’ll buy another pair of fishGillz.

I love my Costas. I have glass lenses, I'll never got back to poly lenses in a pair of everyday sunglasses. I get mine from steepandcheap when they have sales. I think I paid around $100 last time as they were an old style.
