    Default The big ones?

So far this spring my best luck has been under docks and around docked boats. However, tiny ones is about the best I am able to do. what is your strategy for finding the big ones? are the in the same schools but hiding in certain depths or do the big ones hang out in different places than the small ones? I have several places I can go on my home lake where I can reel in tiny one after tiny one. I want some 2lb'ers.

I have had the same results with minnows and jigs with plastics, although minnows seem to get bitten faster. tomorrow will be my first time out with Slab Sauce. maybe that will get me a big one.

Bigger ones are likely out in deeper water, suspended in the tops of trees and/or brushpiles that are submerged & not visible above water. They may also be out in open water, on deep flats or channel edges ... if Shad schools are present.

That all depends, of course, on the water temps, conditions, levels, and their current stage of yearly movement.

Fish under the small fish , large fish rarely stay in that circle .
Often times large fish will be very close to the bottom on large cover .
Every herd pretty much has a bull , but they tend to be more wary as they age .
Sometimes larger baits also help ,but not always.
It depends alot on different factors and scenarios and water bodies
