    The color & temp readings are pretty straight forward. The pH reading needs to be "calibrated" with the little bottle of pH neutral solution that comes with the unit.

    I've got one (had it since it came on the market) .... never really paid much attention to the pH reading, since it almost always read 7.3 in the waters I fished back in the day. The temp reading at depth is useful at times, as is the color meter ... but even the color meter would show me the same color combinations that I was already using most of the time already, so the whole unit ended up in the "seldom used" portion of my fishing equipment closet (which is where it currently resides)
    What I don't have, or can't locate, is the instruction manual that came with it.
