TV fishing shows

You know them legendary anglers you see on film . Them guys that make it look so easy inside of 30 minutes .
I always knew it wasn't how it really happened , but I set out many a moons ago none the less to show me I could in fact make it happen in real time and not over a period of hours or days and edited for another several days to make it look like it happened in 30 minutes and do it on a heavily fished public water way ,not a private pond or such nonsense ...
So the story begins , high noon and the Sheriff is in town kinda thing , the outlaw ketchn whales is here to sling lead I tell ya . Sun to his back as should a good gun fighter approach his quarry you know . a town full of spectators on the side lines . Standing flat footed his hands at his sides he looks at them with a slight squint in his eye .
Then faster than a rattler strike he lets lead fly !
This may sound like some kind of silly bla bla bla story but to be sure this aint no fooling around . I walked up to a couple of couples at a spot I like ,full masked of course . had a light chat about the fish and the lack of bites according to them . Then fist drop till I left I HAMMERED the living FIRE out of some super slabs !
Them folks were about hilarious to chat with while I set the hook over and over and over EVER drop ! Was like man you take lots of photos ...said yep they will call you a liar if you aint got proof !
he even said for sure if I didn't see this with my own 2 eyes I wouldn't believe it
Was like are you a professional fisherman or something ? I was like nope not my thing I just do this for fun .
Was like you come here a lot then ? I was like maybe once a week or 2 sometimes .
Now mind you this , one couple was leaving when I arrived and he told his wife we are staying and watching this guy , this is amazing ….
The second couple was like what the heck as I put big slabs in her hands for him to string up .
then another couple shows up just to watch and ask questions about who what and where .
so at that point about 40 minutes or so and 16 slabs on TWO POUND TEST AND A REALLY WHIMPY micro lite , I told them I have to go ….
getting to crowded for the current situation and it was some kinda hot …
so as I give the couple a last fish the man says there aint no WAY I am letting you leave with that jig
I was like sure brother you can have it and cut my line and put it down for him to pick up .
he said NO SIR , you need to tie it like you got it and show me what you are doing ….I said ok sure .
So I tied it on and took his rod over to the spot I was hitting and dropped said jig in the water
and explained EXACTLY how to do it at what depth and SET THE HOOK on another Slab with his rod ….
As I loaded up to leave I saw him walk over to his stringer and put a nice slab on it
I hollered HEY , you just ketch one that fast ?
his wife held her arm real high with a thumbs up and he did the same …..
and I hopped on my trusty steed saddled up ,ready to ride and rode out of town …..
such was my lunch break yesterday ….
I do in fact have about another dozen or selfie slab photos but at some point its a bit redundant to keep posting them
7 to 8 foot of water , sun straight up and HOT , almost no wind , fish were in the shade ,natural color baits , post spawn travel route , 6 foot down , wanted it real still
KABOOM IZ THE WORD YAWL …...
p.s. this story aint about me or some kind a brag about me , it is for entertainment purposes only and in the end this IS about every single individual who wants to ketch fish and I am hear to tell ya I am pretty sure I can learn ya to do so for the simple price a FREE
and in the end, be kind ,be generous ,be that guy or gal …..you will smile more and sleep better I promise

Great job on leaving while you were still catching em and before the bite fell off!!!! Make em think you coulda done as long as your jiggin arm held up!!!

no doubt ...but it was super HOT and it was crowding up quickly and it was small area and to be sure I had my fair share of fun …
the couple that were just watching that were going to leave right when I got there ...said …..I know where we will be first thing in the morning
and I gave them the tools to hammer them good right down to exactly where to put the bait at what time of day and how deep and never mind trying to master the jig thing just bring you a couple dozen minnows
so I didn't just give my jig away and help the one fella …..I tutored the other couple before they left on the exacts to make it happen for them as well .
now mind ya the spot is ruined for a while and I wont be visiting it soon , it will stay very crowded for a good while after that show I promise ya

nice story and that's how you show a couple how to fish and got them excited about it. Show and tell is always fun.

uh BTW why the mask on a HOT day outside? no evidence that is neccessary at all as that is not a virus friendly environment, just don't hug or touch anyone close up.
