I read all of it, not much wit on either side and wasn't really entertaining. I do like vertical jigging for walleye and they be superb eatin!

Drifting for Walleye, with Earie Dearies tipped with worms, on Lake Earie, that was cool. Back in the day when they did that. Wasn't easy either. You had to feel the bite. Some would catch, some would not cause they did not have the feel. I remember it now. Have to look for a pic of our catch fishing with Tomtom. Those were the days.

I love this place because I can be as silly as I want and post some really silly fish stories to entertain others and not have to deal with the keyboard commandos that want to take the joy away I get from having a good time telling fishee stories .
Why this earth has so many unhappy people is a good question and when did it become alright to be so ugly for no apparent reason to other people is way past my understanding of why I was put on this earth .
Crappie.com is a real heaven on earth for a fishing forum and the moderation and owner have it going on BIG time when it comes to making it a place i want to hang around in for sure .
I would much rather see something deleted that wasn't so nice than to read it daily when I visit .

Yep Ketch, I hate to admit it, but I've been spending more time on fakebook lately. Not that I want to, but to remove the garbage on the crappie.com group there. Regretfully in this day and age, we have to have a presence there. We try to direct them here. But it's unreal, people there think they can say anything. And then they get upset when you delete something. It's essentially made people way too bold, and encourages them not to be civil. Seem like their motto is, throw it out there, stir the pot, and let it be someone else's problem. Sad. If you would not say something in person to someone else, don't post it.

Yep, Fishing the Bay of Quinte every May with my old Man, Grandpa and most of my uncles! Jigs and leeches! Always amazed the locals fished out of 14 foot Lund boats with 10 hp hurricane motors, no matter how bad the weather!

You’re a fortunate man to have those memories, a rich man.
