    Ok guys....BuckeyeCrappie nailed it and Schmoopie had it figured out too...
    It was George Fenner and his Weedless Automatic Bait. The company was in Oxford, Wisconsin and he patented this lure in 1926. I hope you injoyed todays trivia,I know I did...see you next Monday morning. Below is a picture of this lure.
