Size: 39.9 KBI just bought a 2019 Lowe Roughneck 1860. Modified V Jon boast. I would like to install a minnkota deckhand 40 anchor and a trolling motor. Looking for advice on where to locate them. Does the anchor really need to be dead center? I will do some river fishing with it. And would like to mount it just left of center.
Also this boat has a small front deck. Would mounting the trolling motor on the port side so that when it is retrived it lays along the side of the boat be a good idea? The bow has about a foot of level space to bolt to, then it drops down about a foot to the deck. Thanks

Here is how I have mine mounted on a Wareagle 754VS. Not much room, so I had a plate made to fit the original mounting template. Made out of 5/16 alumunium plate. I countersunk 4 holes in bottom of plate to match mounting holes in original mount and put screws from bottom up. Got everything aligned and then drilled 4 holes to mount that plate and base to hull where I could get nuts and washers on from inside. Solid as a rock and no steering problems with it being offset. You could probably mount with in same manner on opisite side.

My TM is also offset with no issues. Cray said what I was about to, make a mounting plate and use it to solidify the mounting of the TM. I’m no help on the anchor mate.
