I thought about this and remembered some bodies that I bought for clear conditions. The already mentioned Patriot and the fle fly minnow in firecracker. The ticket with these is the glitter. Red and blue in a clear plastic. Also have some one inch tubes that are clear and have the blue/red glitter and when downsizing is key, they fit the bill. Just input.
When I was learning to crappie fish many years ago, my Dad taught me you only needed 2 colors to catch crappie..solid white and solid yellow. White for clear water and yellow in muddy water. Of course, we have a few more choices today...I still like white, but with blue or yellow for contrast. New opaque colors like Monkey Milk look good to me in the water and that’s always a good confidence builder for a fisherman.
