Most expensive video game I’ve ever purchased and that’s what I bought it for. Not to compete in tourneys but to have fun fishing with it. I don’t target big fish. I enjoy playing with all the fish. Use yours the way you want but mine is just a fish game that I am blessed to be able to afford.

    I agree also!
How many are using it for spider rigging or trolling? If so how do you do it? I have used mine for spider rigging and would say it has elimenated unproductive waters. I agree with posts that I didn't realize how many fish look at your bait or your weights! qnd don't bite. Going to try to find some brush to target next.

I use it in the spring as a type of forward radar.
Heading towards the blobs on the screen which are schools of bait or crappie.
It was fun and moderately effective

I’m retired and enjoying spending my retirement savings. Worked 37 years to be able to sit back, relax, and live like I planned too. It took my last ten years of working to plan my retirement life. I’m spending my money now. What I have left when I’m dead, the kids can have. Haha.

With all due respect to everyone's opinion... and everyone's freedom to do as they think is right for them.
I personally have zero interest in what many frequently refer to as "video game fishing."
My opinion may change... who knows, but until it does... I'll pass on Livescope.

its a very cool thing , if you can afford one you should get one .
it will indeed improve your ketch rate once you figure out how to use it .
it is also VERY addictive and you might wreck your boat staring at it if you aint careful

I've had LiveScope for almost two years now. I love it.

LiveScope lets you see them but it does not make them bite when they are in a negative mood. LiveScope has taught me that many of the things I believed about crappie in the past is not true. It's made me a better crappie fisherman as I now fish reality and not myths.

There are days when I am catching few crappie that I would have sworn there were no crappie down there before LiveScope. With LiveScope I can't claim that as I can watch them swim up to my jig and then swim away. I've seen large schools around a large brush pile I fish when I was not catching anything.

It is too expensive but it is fun to use when you have it. But you don't need it to catch crappie.

As to keeping limits, I did not keep limits before I bought LiveScope and I don't keep limits now. I keep around five per week for myself. I have a couple of friends who sometimes ask me for crappie and I keep a dozen for them when they ask. I prefer to keep 11-13 inch crappie to eat.
