Ketchn, you mean well but you are wrong. You are a very good friend of mine but sometimes you are wrong. And you should know I am quite capable of defending myself.

I'm not talking about just the last few years here on Joe Pool Lake, I'm talking about what I've seen over the last 20 years, on lakes in California, Louisiana and Texas.

But it does appear to be getting worse as the younger boaters are emulating the behaviour they have observed in their elders as they grew up. Or is that just another sign of my age? But I do know that I am here and have stepped on a few toes. But if a person does not behave in these rude and obnoxious ways they should not be offended when those who do behave this way are called out for it.

And I do apologize for hijacking this thread, it was not my intention.

I just bought a Garmin 93sv and went ahead and ordered the livescope. By far the worst damages to fisheries is commercial fishermen with gill nets. Nothing else comes close to that.

For anyone wanting to go livescope, Bass Pro is having a sale on the 93 uhd and a rebate for livescope of $200. The mailer said march 11-13 of I recall correctly. I'm not interested in livescope, but figured someone might be.
