    Default Rod Help

Up here in the Nort Land we do not fish many stick up`s so I am looking for an 8-10 foot rod that`s wimpy as all get out. it makes the most fun of pulling in Crappies. Rods I have looked at around here once you get over 7 foot they start getting pretty stiff. I am mostly looking for the fun factor of a rod just about doubles over on a decent size Crappie.

    Any suggestions?

If you want whippy, look at steelhead noodle rods.

The 9' B n' M Sam Heaton Super Sensitive will give you a good fight. I have several of these rods in various lengths and when you get a fish on, it's a tussel!
However, I wouldn't call them "whippy". I prefer a rod that is very sensitive to the bite. Whippy rods don't give you that, in my opinion.

The 9' B and M Sam's Super Sensitive Crestliner mentioned is a great rod, I got the 7' version also. Both available at many Walmarts.
