Default Boat and trailer color options

I'm redoing a 87 Skeeter Strada F120. The seats I have to replace with are gray, millennium marine seats. I'm planning on EVA faux foam for the flooring, haven't bought it yet. I'd like to stay away from dark colors for the boat, for the heat and showing dirt.
Currently, the engine is still the original "mariner" gray.

I have red carpet for the bunk boards, it was free! Trailer color - Black, red, gray, white, other?

    Thanks !

I went black on both my boat and trailer. Looks slick when it's clean, but it seldom is.

Kind of wish I had gone silver with the trailer and bright white or orange on the boat. Hides the dirt and flaws better. Black lays down like a mirror and shows everything.

I really like a black interior, but like you say it can be hot. I think charcoal or gray is a good compromise.

I live in the heat and judge my choice by the most comfortable color to wear in the dead of summer, and that’s medium to light gray. I’m not a guy that can wear white for very long til it looks like I’m a slob. Light gray is my favorite, hands down. Apply it accordingly.

Had some paint from previous projects, smeared some on. Inadvertently, left the boat outside for a while, in the sun. The red and grey where warm/hot to the touch. The white was cool to the touch.
It was only about 70°f today.
