    What kind of fish is this?
    My friend said bluegill, I first I said crappie but mouth is too small and tail is too long to be crappie. What do you think?

    The spot on the gill plate is a dead giveaway that it is some sort of sunfish.

    Especially when dropped once or twice, but then their easier to grab...
