This Pelican swam right up to my boat without hesitation. And just stared at me. I caught a smaller crappie, and I threw it back in the water. Kinda in his direction, but I did not throw it very far from my boat. I was really just flipping it back into the water. Wouldn't you know it, that Pelican dove out and caught the crappie. Don't he know there's a size limit on this lake! Dang him, I oughta report him. Well who knows, it mighta been 10 inches long, maybe his eyes are just better than mine! doh

Visited with a gator, just across canal from me.

Got home, visited with the Century Plant. Thats a 18 ft BnM Pro-Troller in my hand. The Century Plant lives roughly ten years, then shoots this Asparagus looking sprout up, it flowers and then it dies. Kinda cool. I dug up some of the baby plants that spread out around it, and replanted them around the house. Should see more like this in ten years.

Then in the afternoon I took the puppies for a ride.

Funny thing, that gator pictured above is barely visible in in this pic with Pepper and Mitzi. It's on the other side of the canal, kinda right between the two dogs.
