In these difficult times there are many who stand up and do what is needed. They all deserve our thanks, the question is how to let them know. When I go to get the groceries later today I’ll be looking for some windshield paint like the kids use when they win a ball game or something. Everyone I can fit on the glass on the back of my pick up truck will have my thanks. What’s your idea?

If we were to thank everyone by category, Slab would run out of storage space on the site pretty quick. So I'm going to do it this way, I thank the Lord above all else, I thank President Trump, All Medical Personnel, Police, Firefighters, and Ambulance personnel. I also want to thank the store clerks, truck drivers and ALL other essential people for being there when our nation was shut down to no fault of our own. I pray we NEVER have to go through this again...I pray for the ones lost to this horrible virus, and the loved ones left behind. May the Lord give us strength to get this, and the guidance to get our Nation back on it's feet. AMEN.

I thank God who empowered all of these special and very unselfish people with the Spirit (His Holy Spirit) to do good and place other people above themselves.
If the majority of world's population was more like these... there would be very little problems in the world... to be sure.

I have many to thank myself. I have a son in law that is a deputy sheriff, a niece that’s in law enforcement in GA, and another son in law that is a marine. Like many others, I could go on for a while. As I drive I see folks that aren’t missing a beat. Construction people are still busy to a point, the mailman comes every day, the grocery store folks from the warehouse to the cashier. I can’t imagine what it would be like being an over the road truck driver, away from home and not knowing where the next load might have to go, maybe to a hot zone. My heart goes out to the Mom and Dads that CANT go to work. The stress must be enormous. As Americans we have taken it on the chin many times and we’re still going strong, we have resilience in large quantity. This has been the biggest test we’ve had in many years, and I’m not sure we’ve even made mid terms yet. God Bless everyone who is doing what is needed to help the rest of us through this. My words aren’t enough but for now it’s all I have.
I agree with everyone above and two more people. The lady that makes my sausage egg and cheese biscuit and the man that delivers the shiners and crickets to my favorite bait shop.
You know me, I'm always ready for a road trip. Chip Newest member of Traveling Team Overalls
Why is it, that people believe in this virus, but not in God, when neither is visible? Just doesn't make sense, does it? Our only hope, is in God, to get us thru this. And we all know that if it is our time, weather because of this virus, or other reasons, that God is always in control. Pray for all those on the front lines, where ever they may be, that God has his hands on them protecting them.
