Terrova Question. Need Your Advice

Ok. I recently got a used Terrova with IPilot. I’ve never used one before so this is new to me. I have been using it on the Advanced Auto Pilot and Cruise Control. My question is this: How do you guys make a fast turn around if you are pulling jigs? It seems it takes the Terrova a while to ramp up speed when I adjust it. I’ve tried using the High Bypass and that works but then I have to go back and turn on Cruise Control and wait for my speed to slow, etc. and then set my speed again. Hopefully there is something I’m missing. I hope some of you guys that have more experience with the Terrova can share some insight.

I haven't used “advanced auto pilot” but I have used cruise control, only way I know to speed up is to keep hitting the + arrow which seems to move pretty soon or else hit the “rabbit” button then you will have to adjust your speed down from there. If your on number 2 on your trolling motor speed you can hit rabbit it will automatically go to 10 the pin if you hit rabbit again it will go back to the last number it was set on . Hope it helps some.

I just increase the speed till I get turned around, usually around 5 or so. If I need to turn in a hurry, I reel up my lines.

My speed increase is instant.
