I also put my boat buying search on hold due to the economy shutdown. I will fish out of my little 2 man bass boat until a great deal comes along. I suspect a whole lotta folks will be dumping their boats within the next couple of months.

I may do the same Grainraiser. Have my eye on a Ranger RT178C that someone I work with may sell, but doesn't have on the market yet. He is about 600 above NADA, but has a few extras that closes the gap. Only thing I don't like is that he only gets 31 MPH out of the 60.

31 is plenty fast enough unless you're fishing tournaments. What's the hurry?

Most likely I would be fine with 31, because most places I fish are small. A 5 mile run is long for me, so at 31 that is a little less than 10 minutes, even at 60 that is only 5 minutes faster. The Ranger looks a lot like the Lowe Stinger 175 with the exception of the terrible spot they put the fuel.

You aren't lying! I've called several TN dealers about boats they had listed on Boat Trader or CL. They seem almost irritated to take my call. I haven't even made an offer for anything at a dealer. I'd rather work with an individual in most cases.
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...
