need a new electric knife

old knife gave up on me and its time to get a new one. I was thinking I would like a rechargeable one but haven't found a good one yet .I guess corded would be ok but being able to clean fish were there is no power would be nice.so who has a knife they just love?

I'll second the Bubba blade. I have the corded model and I love it. I can't speak for the cordless model firsthand, but I have heard good reviews from fishing buddies that have one. Another, slightly cheaper, option for a corded knife is the heavy duty rapala or the regular rapala. The gray/black model that's larger is more heavy duty and it was a very good knife for me for years before finally the plastic blade holder inside the knife broke. The regular rapala was a favorite of mine of years, but I went through 1 every year or two. I think rapala has a cordless model as well, but I don't know anything about it.

5 years ago I got a new unused American Angler 12 volt at an auction for $10. Used a bunch and still works great.

I've got a cordless Bubba. Comes in a nice case with 2 rechargeable batteries, charger and 4 sets of blades. Best electric knife on the market IMO. Got a great deal on it at Sportsman's Outfitters back in December.

Does the Bubba get hot?
I got a regular household model with the rapala filet blades. Works fine, but get freaking hot in my hand....kind of a good problem I guess.

been using Mr Twister forever never a problem, never gotten hot cleaning a couple limits of fish.

I love my cordless bubba, and my 7” bubba knife. I even got my cordless for $65! I cleaned 150 fish the other night on 1 (not full) charge.
