Well, nothing new t report on the boat. Been trying to out wait the rain. Sometimes it really hurts not having a shop or garage to work in. Maybe one day...new honey do project to get done, or get more done on anyway...bedroom floor. Carpet was original to this trailer, and even the steam cleaner wasen't getting the job done efficiently enough...so, out it came.

Now, I must say it sure isn't easy working on hands and knees with a bum knee and lower back. No fun at all. But it's out, and whole floor finally coated with KILZ. Momma said don't put the subflooring cover board down till she picked out the new tile she wants...Never put tile on a particle board subflooring. Trust me. Sub floor in mobile homes from 1993 is about 1 1/8" particle board. Lowes has a 1/8" ply type sheet to put down over it to be able to put tile down. If you don't it will come loose and have pieces of board particle stuck to it...someone before we had it did it in the master bath...uuurgh!!!! Makes a big mess.
Have to go up to KC, Mo (Kansas City, Missouri), this week and fetch momma home. Not working out with her co driver and that company is teams only...so it looks like she'll be here for at least this coming week. She's home, no work done on boat... will keep everyone posted as I can, as I get things done. Thank you for your time reading and following along n the saga of the Boat Rebuild...Eric, AKA jamesdean.

Good luck getting things back on track. I too don’t have a shop and share in your frustration. In all my driving years I’ve only driven team less than two months. Too many reasons to list. Hope she finds someplace to be happy.

Thanks Skeet. She made it home safe and sound. You know how trucking is, well they had 3 loads cancel. Finally got a load from Dallas to Indy, and then Dead head over to Chicago for a load back to Dallas which put them right through Springfield on I-44. I only had to go to the local J truck-stop. Her boss don't want to loose her and is seeing if he can put another truck on with them in their Expedited Service section and put Where 2 1/2 inches early afternoon. Had the tarp on the boat but hadn't gotten a center brace installed to raise the center so the water would run off. Well I ran a 600 gph bilge pump off a 5 amp hr batter for a good 10 min. to empty out the boat...Well everyone have a great Memorial Day week-end and stay safe. Tight lines till next time...Eric, AKA Jamesdean.
