I must say, If you don't have confidence in a color it's not likely you'l catch fish with it. I tend to fish colors I have caught fish on before...there fore more confidence.

BGBS colors: screamer, elec chicken. I like minnow and blue ice also.
Grubs. Far and above white body chartreuse tail
I use them all but these produce for me often.

It’s all about confidence on most days but some days if you and got what they wanting you going to be skunked ! I have 30 or colors / differ baits but I’m using up what I have before replacing because I can usually always get bit on monkey milk, blue ice , white chartreuse ,or black chartreuse! So don’t buy into all the colors like I have get you 5-6 confidence baits and fish on!

Seen a lot of combo colors I haven't tried.

For me, pink jighead with white body, second is chartreuse jighead with white body, third is black jighead with black body.

I’ll just use some of Bobby Garlands colors, blue ice, blue thunder, double silver rainbow, bluegrass, monkey milk. If those don’t work, I’m headed home. I fish stained water.

Jig head color preference was asked - not lure color. Unpainted jig heads are all I use. Don't want to detract from the lure.
