Good luck out there bee. I will be out within the next couple of days myself. Still finishing up prepping the boat. Did the trailer wheel bearings yesterday. Today I am going to pull it out of the garage and fire it up. Maybe Sunday or Monday or both I will be on the water.

I hope you catch your personal best after this long wait. I don't see how anybody can stand living in the North during the winter.

I go crazy after missing a couple of days on the water now. I don't even want to go to Chicago to visit my grandsons during the winter. And I tell my son and daughter-in-law this on a regular basis as I try to convince them to move down here.

After years of telling them this, I have finally convinced them. As soon as the youngest son finishes high school they are going to sell their practice and move South. But that is another 4 years of going North for Thanksgiving for me.

This does not make much sense to me. If you are fishing from your boat why should it matter how long you stay on the lake. I would not fish in a fishing barge or on a crowded shoreline but I don't see the problem on a boat, private slip or lake.
