    Fished a couple hrs yesterday.
Now I know for sure we had a flash spawn early March during high water. The bream have moved into the trees where the crappie spawn. Time to send down my little hand tied black jigs looking for the big red ears

Love catching bull bream on an ultra-light rod.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

I was wrong, flat wrong! Just when you think you know it all the fish will prove you know nothing. A wave of spawning fish have moved shallow and I am shocked to say the least. I had some of the best action ever yesterday. I’m headed back to my honey hole before sunrise as soon as I finish this post.
It pays to check shallow water any time in the spring.

I've been fishing a 10 acre pond here at home in Sourh Carolina and last week the males still wearing their tuxedo but the females had few eggs left in them as l fillet a few.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Still not seeing any with tuxedos here. Saw a couple that were starting to turn last week but none this week.
