    Default cabelas canceling orders


    Has anyone else had problems with cabelas canceling orders?
    I placed an order 2 weeks ago for crappie nibbles and it was canceled.
    Basically i have placed prob 4 orderes in the last 2 years and every single one has been canceled.
    and maybe 2 out of 4 times do i get any notice at all.

    There is probably general fear from a liability standpoint running rampant in many Board Rooms today. Find out where Crappie Nibbles are made. That may tell a story too. I bought some fishing related items just this week. When they were delivered I was hit by the fact that they were manufactured in China. I now know that there is a company in the USA that makes the same product. I'll never buy another product made in China! Cabelas may be feeling similar concerns from many like myself. If in doubt, follow the money trail in any question in life. When I was in college I was taught that every war was the result of conflicts about one of three things, sex, food, or money. Cabelas as we knew it no longer exists. Their plight is one soon to be repeated by many companies.

    No problems with my last two orders. I received both packages in less than a week.

    No problems on my end with Cabelas

    I called in to cabelas this morning and all they said is it was canceled and to call a different number.
    Then i tried live chat, and they said my account is flagged. So i guess im on the S list, and that means no notifications will be sent and you cant talk to regular reps. lmao.

    They must have discovered that occasionally you were buying stuff locally ;-)

    I’ve had this happen twice in the past year. Both times when I was suppose to get the shipment I received a cancelled email with absolutely no reason. Both times I called they were out of stock even though their website said items were in stock...

    Interesting. I have never had any problems with Cabelas, but most likely the company isn’t the same as many years ago. I like doing business with them. If you’re flagged, any problems in the past?

    I never returned an item to cabelas , bass pro , or gander in 30 years. Like I said this is prob my 3rd or forth ordered canceled with cabelas and they never seem to say anything or make good. Just no customer service at all.

    I've had at least three orders through Cabelas in the last four weeks or so and I've had no issues... but something COVID 19 affecting the supply chain (more recently) may have something to do with it.
