My buddy, slabeye (maker of the Slabanator jig plastics) used to be almost exclusively a jig/crank Pusher ... going to float/jig only when absolutely necessary. He got a LS and once he figured it out & got used to using it, he's almost gone exclusively to "flipping" his jig rigs out past the cover (with fish on it) and watching the jigs fall into the range of the fish he's seeing on the LS. He can basically see & feel the bite at the same time. He's using a 12' rod (Sam Heaton rear reel seat) because it's sensitive & light weight. I believe the "Stick" is designed specifically for using it the same way slabeye is using his Sam Heaton ... but, to also be stiffer in action so as to be able to horse fish out of heavy cover quickly, as well as be able to lift land fish without the aid/necessity of a net.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

How stiff or how much backbone does the stick have verses a 12 foot PST trolling rod?

    About 57 dollars stiffer.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

So I still could not see what B&M rod it was. I love my Sam Heaton Super Sensitive rods in 7, 9, and 11.

It's a heavy duty, and light weight (for it's length) rod. Feels smaller than it is in your hands. Great hook set capability. Designed specifically for livescope users. They say to lift large crappie straight up and into boat. I do that with all my BnM rods anyway. But I can tell you this Stick works for that purpose for sure. Makes lifting a big fish into the boat feel like smaller fish, and controlled more easily. Like I said, I really like it.
