aw shucks life is what you make it to be. Still went to the J in STL for Raquetball and the whole crew showed up 10 guys and gals who are all outstanding players and no we arn't scared of this media driven hysteria. we didn't hug, or shake hands but laughed, talked about our families and played a hard 3 hours and had a ball. End of games instead of high fiving like usual or even fist bumps we tapped feet like you saw those cats do in china video and LOLed about it. will be back this am for 3 more hard hours with a different crew. BTW place was full of folks doing their workouts or whatever sports they do like pickleball, Basketball, swimming, walking and on the machines. Workers at J are hard at keeping equipment sanitized and we all will be just fine. Go live your dang life folks and nothing better than FISHING outside where we don't need no stinking masks or worries!!

Went to Culver's last night after watching our church service online and only one couple were in there and only couple in drive thru. We laughed with them about all the dang wussies in this world who are afraid of this and Culvers folks gave us FREE MEALS because we were there and giving them our business. You are MUCH more likely to die from regular flu and it's not even close folks. WE are always cautious every winter and WASH our hands frequently anyway and stay away from folks with symptoms and limit touching contact anyway.

Just avoid crowds. Have EZ put up a larger gate and fence and you two go fishing!

He does have many talents. Here is a drawing he made that I feature on one of my web sites.

Adding a larger gate would not do any more good than the current gate. They just enter from the front of the house boat or climb down from the raised walkway next to my slip now.

I was told yesterday that the marina had sent a letter to each slip holder telling them the rules would be enforced about not fishing on H dock or the walkway connecting the docks.

I wish them luck with that unless they intend to have a full time employee enforcing it 24 hours a day. The draw of the rock wall to fish during the spawning system is just too much for most people to ignore, which I fully understand. It was hard for me to resist so I moved to H dock.

I don't mind them fishing the rock wall from the H dock walkway, I just wish they would be quiet while they fished late at night or early in the morning. Four hours of sleep a night is just not enough for an old man like me.

And leave my equipment along. I just found the lid is broke on my new (2 month old) fish basket yesterday. Apparently somebody was using it while I was not there to hold their fish and broke it while trying to get their fish out.

And I doubt this current pandemic outbreak will keep many people from fishing the crappie spawn.
