Default Let call it official PB.

I’m sorry, seem like I bragged a lot, I just want to share my happiness since none of my family into fishing just wanna eat the fish I caught lol.

This evening went out to test my new reel. Not bad a few casts and got a nice size 12” crappie, but none after that. Walked back to my car to get lighter weight and also grab my spinning setup. A few casts still no bite, decided to cast on to the bank, Bam got hit and feel like good size fish. I play safe, keep pressure and make sure the drag is loose enough. This Majorcraft speedstyle S63UL is pretty stiff, stiffer than my other UL rod and only bend about 1/3. Anyway after I landed the fish, I had to run back to my car again to get the scale. And the result is 2.14lb officially weight PB crappie.

Nice fish, and good healthy color. Must be about spawn time out there on the left coast?

@stantheman2567, I think it almost done for crappie. I think crappie spawn about a week or two before bass, correct? I saw a bunch of bass on bed and I’m not into bed fishing.
@CrappiePappy, not yet I have not checked the mail yet. It might still sit in my mailbox. I’m sure if I used Roadrunner I would catch even bigger fish.
