Was it G sauce ? And what type presentation . bobber or no bobber ?
Nice catch and report. Your confidence in bait, color and slab sause paid off well.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Wow, those are some nice fish. Going to go hunting to,or row to see if the fish are moving. Would love to find anything like what you caught.

Original Slabsauce. But since I dunk the jig in a jar full of the sauce, and at various times there's been g-sauce in their too, there's likely a little garlic smell left in their as well. No bobber, just loop knot tied Bunny Butt. 6 lb test Mr. Crappie line. BnM rod n reel. Long cast with the wind behind me. Retrieved as slow as possible, often hitting the weeds. Don't reel right-a-way after the bait hits the water, you have to let it get down just a bit, otherwise it'll stay too high in the water column during the retrieve. It's just what I do. Everyone has to find their own rhythm I guess. But thanks for asking.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
