They were in the slips all day yesterday. A few were starting to show color and a few were heavy females. Most were keepers but all but three were under 13". It was a fun day from 6:30 am till 8:00 pm when I finally said enough is enough. I'm taking a rain break today and am only starting at 4:30 pm.

Been asked by the powers that be not to give permission to fish my dock so the number granted that permission will be limited to personal friends. Marina management is again actively chasing away those who don't have a slip on that dock. I don't envy them that chore as this dock will be mobbed now that the crappie are starting to show up there in numbers. The rock wall behind the dock is a favorite spawning area of my favorite fish.

Most boats on this dock are cabin cruisers and houseboats whose owners don't want fisherman bothering them trying to fish their slips.

They did not have much luck controlling it last year so I doubt they will have better luck this year. But I will follow the wishes of those who don't want me to invite many people to fish my slips.

Be hard to classify you that way since you did most of the condo building work for those slips. With adequate supervision by SK, H and myself, of course.
