Mustang jackets are nice as i have a couple. One of my jackets has to have an 80.00 dollar recharge kit. the other one has a different recharge and is only half that amount. Just a heads up.

Mine doesn't show a date just a red/green gauge on unit. Is it safe long as its green? Its the BPS model they put on sale each year.

Are there any real differences in the life saving features of the USCG vs the SOLAS approved inflatable vests. From what i have read the SOLAS seems to have a universal life saving approval, but does not have the USCG stamp making unacceptable in the US. So does that make the SOLAS jacket less safe than a USCG approved?? (Or is it a political issue?) It is hard for me to believe there would be a $100/150 difference in vest with equal safety features!!!
