Default Slab sauce saves the day!!

After all the rains that we have had and all the times that I have gotten wet trying to fish in between the rains I finally got me a quality rain suit and wanted to get out and give it a try to see if I could fish in the rain and still stay dry! So I made it out in one of the nastiest days of the year 8-12 mph winds 40° making it a tuff day just to be out! So I get spot locked on the place I was going to fish and started casting my jig knowing that the fish were their I tried multiple jigs for over and hour without the first bite then I said ok its time to put the odds in my favor and I applied ( G sauce ) to a jig that I had been fishing for at least 10 minutes and Bam ! I finally had my first hit and had landed the first fish of the day. I would reapply (G sauce or Slab sauce )once the bite slowed then things would pick back up the fished seamed to like em both that day. I have had days that they like one more than the other .So if you want to keep the odds in your favor never be without Slab sauce and G sauce because they have proved to me time and time again that they really work ! The rain suit kelp me dry but after about 3 hours of the cold cold wind that’s all I could take so I headed in with a nice mess of fish thanks to slabs sauce!

That is a fine mess. A buddy of mine makes Spike-It Dip-N-glo attractants. Once I heard him say, "Garlic dips to fish is like popcorn to humans. You're not really hungry for it until you smell it and then you want some and you can't stop eating it."

you cast for over an hour in one spot in that nasty weather before you decided to put the odds in your favor? LOL

absoulatey I knew the fish were their and was determined to get them to bite and tried Multiple color/ different profile jigs then added the slab sauce because it’s never failed me ! Do you not ever try different stuff ? I also have certain jigs that’s never failed me either but I still like to try different stuff!

I went with the guide wear from Frogg Toggs I got the suit it does a great job on keeping you dry ! But it isn’t wind proof and I knew that when I purchased it. Will prolly get the artic armor next for the real cold days but it’s really to much on the mild to warm days! But would been great for that particular day! Lol
