    Default My First Tourney In The Books


    Crappie Anglers of Texas Feb 15th Tournament. This is myfirst tournament ever and really had no idea what I was doing. Took 6th of out25 but it was HARD fishing. I had one fish that I tried for hours to cull buthad no luck.

    Man you are not joking. I felt stressed all day, but a good and fun stress that I have not felt that often in my retired days. Cannot wait to do it again! :-)

    Looks like you would have done fine... but for a bit of a slow start. If your day would have started out a little stronger the first couple of hours... I'm sure you would have been right there amongst 'em.
    Do you think perhaps if you'd eaten that nasty can of Chef Boy-R-Dee Spaghetti a little sooner... it might have changed your luck? It does seem like that was the turning point in your momentum that day.
    I've always heard that everything is better when it's eaten on the water... especially when you're hungry... but, I don't see how you can eat that stuff... let alone eat it cold right out of the can.
