I've been tinkering at remodeling this mobile home, so haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked in '19, But this winter has been so freaky this year. In the last two winters I've lived here in Southwest Missouri, when it snowed it stuck around for a bit. This year, very unseasonable warm weather followed by a couple days of arctic air, with a dusting of about 1/2 inch to 1 inch and melted by the next afternoon, only for the weather pattern to do the exact same thing with in a week or two. If I didn't know better I would think Someone is trying to weed out the weak cause this is some real good Pneumonia weather we are having.

Now all these weather changes and the Barometer going up and down faster than a Duncan yo-yo in the hands of a 6yr. old, the fish of all types have got to be dizzier than someone getting off of the tea cup ride at Disney Land....Oh My...Kaboom ya all....

Crappie only break the rules that you set for them...when you read studies and other research, they act accordingly to their situations.
Water temps are the number 1 driver, then you add all the other influences. They react to alot of different stimuli according to the patterns which are triggered.
Normally as fishermen, we think we are superior to Mother Nature and have it all figured out...but really, we have missed something that is going on in their world!
