they don't get up on the docks over there much , I imagine all them high end 45 foot long boat owners make it unpleasant to do so

Years ago, 3 of us were fishing in my old jon boat. It was winter and we were not catching any crappie. I had some Doritos. A couple of the local boat dock ducks heard me crunching the Doritos. I got to feeding them by hand. I laid down in the bottom of the boat with my hand over the side like Cousin It on the Adams Family and caught the green head when he tried to get the chip from my hand. There were about 15 boats watching...

I hooked a duck in a pond one time when I was about 12 , let me tell you this …..
they pull harder than a big fish and it gets really tricky when they take to the wing
