Gosh SK watching that one made me cold....lol. Great stuff as always. Sort of weird watching you without a hand tie jig. Steve makes some good ones though. Thanks for sharing

I've got a question for y'all...... Let me fill you in, live scope has came out with this new flat view or what ever they call it, it's REALLY caught my eye and looks like I'd like it (I still hate their price) my question to you is..... If you caught crappie like I show in these vids would you cough up the money to buy it? Would you still be interested in my vids if I had live scope?

I can honestly say that I enjoy your videos because you use what I use. I don’t have the live camera and can’t afford one. It’s up to you on whether you get it, but for the life of me I can’t understand why guys who can catch fish without one would think that they have to get it.

I will watch regardless SK. You produce some really good videos. I do like the way you fish and have modeled my fishing after you. I could see how having livescope would be beneficial to you especially fishing tournaments. I struggled when deciding on new fish finder and decided on hummingbird. New fish finder hasn't arrived and they announce the perspective livescope and I am questioning livescope again for me. I'm going to do without and be happy with the hummingbird. Finding the structure and mapping is more important to me and coughing up around $2500 is not happening now.

I have followed Live Scope since its inception...reading, and watching a ton of videos. It is a tool.....that is all it is. If you don't know how to use the tool it is no good and I can guarantee you many who one have no clue what they are looking at or how to interpret it. The same thing happened and is still happening with si units. I can't tell you how many folks I know who have an si unit, and have had one for several years and still cant use it. No I don't think Richard Gene has a Live Scope. But it is not about how many fish Richard Gene catches....it is about how many fish you...yourself catches. When it comes to fishing I ask myself before I purchase something new "Does it give me an advantage over my current situation"? The 2 si units I have owned certainly gave me a big advantage over my fishing before I owned them...if for nothing else to save me valuable time....but my si unit does a lot more than save me time. I fish cast and retrieve....only. I buy very expensive, super sensitive Japanese fishing rods. They give me a big advantage that I did not have before. For anyone who fishes cast and retrieve you can bet your last dollar you will gain an advantage by fishing them. It is the same with the JDM lines...needle sharp jig heads I use..they give me huge advantage over other lines and jig heads. In the end it comes down to the fact do you want to pay the price to gain that advantage....is it important enough to "yourself" to pay that money. What someone else thinks or what someone else catches is of no consequence....not any! Of course this is a crappie forum....but myself and many others fish for other specie. My needs for wanting a Live Scope really have nothing to do with crappie...although I am sure if I got one I would certainly use it for crappie. This past fall I was fishing below a point off an island in the river. The KY bass and smallmouth bass were hanging around the down current side of the island...but they were moving around as the shad were moving around. You cast to one spot and catch a couple then nothing from that spot. You had to constantly fan cast to relocate the fish. It hit me had I had an Live Scope I could just turn the transducer to locate the fish without having to move my boat around to scan for them. It would have given me an advantage. SK there are several reasons people watch my channel...even though the views are small in number. Some tune in to learn about JDM fishing gear...others tune in for the UL angling aspect of it. Some tune in just to see what fish I am catching....and some tune in for all the mentioned reasons. Mine and your fishing styles don't match up...yet I watch your channel. I love to see fish being caught....you do that. You explain what and why you are doing what you are....I might learn something that might apply to my situation. So whether you have a Live Scope to me matters not....I will still tune in.

    Regards
