I spider rig and longline without a bow livewell and so do 1000’s of others. Granted, it would be nice but it’s definitely not necessary
How important is a bow live-well?
Could you spider rig without it?
Do you spider rig without a bow live-well?

My Double seat covers the bow live well. We just use the one at the stern.
I use my front live well almost exclusively specially on windy days as the extra weight helps hold the bow from blowing around as much, when fishing by myself and end up in the back of the boat makes a huge difference, takes a little off of top end speed but it works for me.

My bait bucket is special, it’s convenient (bow or stern), durable and best of all it cost only $0.50 cash with the lid. I bought it a while back at the local Burger King. I's a 5 gallon plastic pickle bucket. Most fast food joints still get pickles in these white 5 gallon buckets and most will give you the buckets FREE so they don’t have to walk out to the dumpster to get rid of them. These plastic pickle buckets make perfect bait buckets. The bucket is priced right and holds plenty shiners. It’s easy to exchange the total water volume too. Put your cast net over the top of the bucket, a couple twist of the net to keep the bait in the bucket when you dump all the water out and dip up a fresh bucket of water in1 smooth motion. Total water exchange takes less than 30 seconds from start to finish.
I like those plastic 5 gallon bait buckets.
My boat doesn't have one. But the next one will.

Depends if you catch fish or not!
I have one on my boat and its nice to have but I dont think its a absolute must.
I had one on my previous boat and used it for dry storage. All depends on how well it works and how you fish. I dont miss it.
