    I'm going to try spider rigging and I see that alot of guys use hi- vis line is that so you can detect bites easier thanks

    For me personally it is so that my old eyes can see well enough to tie knots. Seeing light bites is secondary.

    For me yes, main thing for me is seeing that bite where they don’t pull pole down but just pick it up and pull side ways. You can tell at a glance if you have one line that is out of line with the rest.
