Ok....here is a hint.....this lure has like a spring type motor inside it.....the line tie is a 3 inch piece of braided line with a swivel on it coming out the mouth. When you pop or tug on the lure that braid pulls and winds up a spring mechanism and releases it which makes the back legs kick and that propels the lure forward in the water a few inches.

Think I know this one. I won't say because I had to cheat and use Google to remember the name. I remember this one because me and brother when kids thought it was so cool. My dad told us not to waste our allowance on it that it was a "gimmick" lure in his words. Lol

stanley jigs was about that time but didn't make frogs ,just great jigs.

Ok guys... some good guesses but Ridgerunner got it right. It was the Powerpak Frog made by Powerpak Lures Inc. out of Dallas , Texas.
