You will never regret buying a livescope and at least a 10" graph. Nothing else can begin to compare to the detail you will see.

If I could afford it I would have both.
So I have livescope....Both have their place..

With the livescope you know 100% sure theres a fish there when you see it.Havent been around the mega 360 though but have the regular 360 and livescope. With the regular it would take alot of time to pick out fish unless the spot is loaded down with them.

I have Livescope and am waiting for Humminbird to release the Mega 360 to VIP. Even though they are totally different systems, I can see where the Mega 360 will be much more valuable to me as primarily a troller. Pulling at speeds of 0.5-2.5mph, the Mega 360 will allow me to find structure and examine it before I get to it at trolling speeds. Livescope doesn't allow me to do that at trolling speeds.

I am leaning on the 360 as I think it would help me find alot more structure. Would a Helix Gen 3 be okay? Also it would have to be a SI ? I put out alot of crappie beds but I am not looking for those but others. I can't really afford a Solix but could probably manage a Helix 7 or 8? Thanks !

It will have to be a Helix GN3. I would assume any GN3 will be compatible with the Mega 360 but I would make 100% sure before I pulled the trigger.

Spiderrigging and structure is not a good mix in my opinion.
Maybe if you hover over it. But it you run up on it it hangup city.
Livescope finds fish and bait in open water and on structure.
Go to YouTube and search livescope spider rigging. See what's there

    I believe Techno2000
Won’t be long until they will come up with headgear type screen like the people use to play video games and fly drones with.

Current 360 works with any Ethernet capable HB unit ...

    MEGA 360 only works connected to HELIX MEGA+ G3N or SOLIX MEGA+ G2 ...

If you wait a couple of months you will get a lot better answers to your questions as more will have the mega 360 as it’s released and you will see their comments on mega 360 vs live scope. If I was a tourney fisherman, I would have to have both tools for the advantages of finding fish. If you use SI and DI and like using it, then Mega 360 is going to rock your boat!
