    Default Lost the giant!

got 10 today, several of them over two pounds even one male over 2lb. Of course the only one that is etched in my mind is the 3lb one that got off, these fish have been fighting like much bigger fish, and this one was no exception. I thought I had hooked another bass, and was busy playing it when I saw the line change and head for a jump, I was getting ready for the jump, and instead of a green carp jump, I saw a huge female crappie. Actually only saw the front 10 inches, lips to dorsal fin, and then my lure was free in the air flying straight towards me!Name: 20200312_113157.jpg

That's quite a successful trip you had. Some truly beautiful crappie. Sorry about the "one that got away". Look at it this way.....he's your target for next time.

this time of year is when we consistently see the biggest fish, so I guess I just better keep after them.
