Default Monday Morning Fishing Trivia # 37

Back in the 30's a New York Company came out with a great looking lure. It was wood bodied and had milky glass eyes and elaborate spring loaded hook hangers cast from German silver. The hooks snapped on.
What company made this lure and what was the lures name?
I will give some hints later today and give the answers tonight.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Not really sure about that.....but judging by the length and the fact of only two treble hooks, I would guess for bass.

Hint....The first ones were branded with trademark S.O.S. which stood for snap on securely as the hooks could be removed or changed out easily without tools....Later on they changed to another brand name trademark.
